Herbalife Announces its 2nd CASA Herbalife Program in Thailand In Collaboration with the Baan Nokkamin Foundation

Bangkok--1 Aug--Francom Asia The Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF), a non-profit corporation dedicated to improving children's lives by helping organizations provide healthy nutrition to vulnerable children, announced the launch of its 2nd CASA Herbalife Program in Thailand, in conjunction with the Baan Nokkamin Foundation. As part of the initiative, the children and families in the Baan Nokkamin Foundation will have access to good nutrition and be in a better position to achieve an active, healthy lifestyle. The CASA Herbalife Program’s contribution will go towards providing food staples like rice, and enhancing the kitchen area. It will also cover the renovation of Baan Nokkamin’s football field to encourage sports activities among the youth. HFF opened its first CASA Herbalife program in Thailand in 2006 at the Foundation For Children located in Nakorn Pathom province. Commenting on the launch of the second CASA Herbalife Program, Mr. Thang Nguyen, Herbalife’s Senior Director/ Sub-regional General Manager, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, said “We are delighted to help the children of the Baan Nokkamin community gain access to healthy eating options and active lifestyle for long-term benefits. The Foundation’s objectives complement CASA Herbalife Program’s primary focus to improve the nutrition and lives of vulnerable children everywhere.” CASA Herbalife is HFF's flagship program offering grants to non-profit organizations that provide supportive, social services to underprivileged children around the world, including special projects and ongoing programs that fund good nutrition. To date, more than 100 CASA Herbalife programs have been established across the world including 25 in the Asia Pacific region.
