Bangkok--23 Jul--Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa today announcedthe appointments for a number of leadership roles within the resort including Director ofBusiness Development, Food & Beverage Manager, Executive Sous Chef and Pastry Chef. Director of Business Development – Jens Frank-Mikkelsen Jens Frank-Mikkelsen, was born and educated in Denmark, where he received a degree inHotel Management from Copenhagen Business School. He began his career as Tour Leaderand Destination Manager in Egypt, Turkey, Spain, Venezuela and Greece. He has heldseveral management positions at other Hilton Worldwide properties, where he has grownrespectively in the field of Sales, Events and Business Development. Most recently, Frank-Mikkelsen was Director of Business Development at Hilton Copenhagen Airport Denmark, hebrings 13 years of experience to his new role at Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa wherehe oversee the Sales, Events & Catering, Marketing & Communications, Reservations andRevenue Management functions within the hotel. Food & Beverage Manager – Erik Guluta Erik Guluta, a graduate in hotel management from Les Roche School in Switzerland, began his career in Food & Beverage department at leading establishments across the UnitedKingdom, France and Switzerland. Prior to this appointment, the Italian national was theFood & Beverage Manager of Hilton Singapore, where he managed all the hotel outlets aswell as banqueting and outside catering. Guluta brings eight years of experience to theresort where he is responsible for restaurants, pool bars, lounges, banqueting and catering. Executive Sous Chef – Sylvain Blanloeil Sylvain Blanloeil, a native of France is the new Executive Sous Chef at Hilton PhuketArcadia Resort & Spa. He brings more than 15 years of experience with a background in fineFrench and international cuisine to the resort which he will help oversee the hotel’s culinary,banqueting and catering operations. Notable highlights of Blanloeil’s career include being thesenior Sous Chef at the Le Novotel in France for the past six years prior to joining the resortas well as being a part of the culinary team at leading establishments across the UnitedKingdom, Kuwait and New Caledonia such as Le Meridien Montparnasse, Le MeridienNoumea, Le Meridien Kuwait and The Milestone hotel, England. Pastry Chef – SarojKhummani Saroj Khummani, was born and educated in Thailand where he received a degree in Pastry and baker from Vocational Education. He began his career in Bangkok at reputableproperties including Royal Orchid Sheraton, JW Marriott Sukhumvit, Le Meridien KhaoLakand Anantara Villa. In additional, he gain an international experience from his previousemployed by Carnival Cruise line in Florida, where he held position of Assistant Pastry cheffor four years. Prior to joining the resort, Khummani was the Pastry chef at Westin Siray Bay. He brings more than 20 years of experience to his newly appointed position where he will be responsible for Pastry kitchen in the resort.
