Thai Gypsum Products Public Company Limited, the manufacturer of gypsum innovations for 45 years and of the leading brand “Gyproc,” has reaffirmed its positive outlook regarding market conditions in the second half of 2014 with the commitment to build a new warehouse/distribution center in Surat Thani province. Following its strategic plan to achieve 5% growth this year before the introduction of AEC, Gyproc continues to expand its national footprint following the opening of the 5th Gyproc Center, launched recently in Phuket.
Thongchai Kamolpattana, Commercial Director, Thai Gypsum Products Public Company Limited, said, “Gyproc aims to become the market leader in gypsum production following AEC integration. As Thailand is located centrally within the region, we believe many foreign investors will be attracted to invest in the country, whether by development of properties they own or the expansion of their regional offices, both sectors of course requiring materials for construction.”
He continues, “We have planned to strengthen our readiness for increasing demand in the near future by adding this new warehouse in Surat Thani, which will facilitate distribution in the Southern area and empower the effectiveness of Gyproc Center Phuket. We now have five warehouses, in Bangkok , Nonthaburi, Chonburi and Ayudhya.”
Gyproc Center currently provides customer service and Gyproc product solutions in five locations, which are: Rama3, Bangkok; Ramintra, Bangkok; Phutthamonthon Sai 2, Bangkok; Chonburi; and Phuket – Gyproc’s strategic distribution base for the Southern area.
