Leading global travel search engine, Skyscanner has launched their Hotels app, which offers a beautiful and intuitive way to search, compare and book hundreds of thousands hotels all over the world.
With its proprietary search function, Skyscanner’s Hotels app puts hotel photos at the centre of the app’s comparison feature, and makes it easy to swipe through images without having to leave the results page.
According to Ms. Grace Pobpabha Areerat, Marketing Manager - Thailand, Skyscanner found that travellers may spend longer researching the perfect hotel than the actual length of their trip.
“The process of searching for and ultimately selecting a hotel is made easier for a user when supported by imagery, therefore we developed our app to be very visual”.
“The Skyscanner Hotels app aims to make the research time convenient and pleasurable - giving travellers all the tools they need, in one place, to be able to make the best choice, confidently and without hassle,” she said.
Search results can be sorted by popularity, price and user rating, while the app’s map view provides lodging options by location and points of interest. Another function that facilitates the decision making process is “favourites” feature that allows users to save options for later.
Furthermore, the Hotels app, like Skyscanner itself gives users completely unbiased results with the best rates at the hotel of their choice.
The App is currently available in English on iOS with Android and Thai versions to follow soon.
