The all-new BMW M4 Coupé
As the first-ever BMW M cars to feature engineered-in curb weight reduction from one generation to the next, the all-new M4 Coupé stand poised to attack corners, hills, and braking zones, and will vigorously defend BMW M’s decades-strong position as segment leader around the world.
The “M4” badge is a reference to the model series that provides the basis for the all-new M model. The engine is the heart of every M model, and the new turbocharged six-cylinder unit fitted in the all-new BMW M4 Coupe combines the virtues of a high-revving naturally aspirated unit with the strengths of turbocharger technology.The all-new BMW M4 Coupé produces a maximum output of 431 hp. Its peak torque of 550 Nm at 1,850-5,500 rpm is available across a wide rev band and outstrips the figure recorded by the outgoing BMW M3 by roughly 40 percent. And yet the engine also achieves a reduction in fuel consumption and emissions of nearly 25 percent. The all-new BMW M4 Coupé sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds with 7-speed M Double Clutch Transmission.
In the interest of maximizing dynamic ability and ensuring excellent efficiency, weight savings of around 80 kilograms have been achieved over a comparably equipped predecessor model. The BMW M4 Coupé sets new standards in terms of overall concept, precision and agility, thanks to the rigorous application of intelligent lightweight design measures. These include the increased use of lightweight materials such as carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) and aluminum for a number of chassis and body components. Indeed, the model features a carbon-fiber roof.
The all-new BMW X6 xDrive30d M Sport
The all-new BMW X6 Sports Activity Coupé, BMW’s second generation Sports Activity Coupé, comes with a suitably exclusive roster of standard equipment that goes well beyond the previous model.
The design of the all-new BMW X6 body combines the robust presence of a BMW Sports Activity Vehicle with the hallmark sporting elegance of the brand’s coupés to create an unmistakably athletic appearance. The long hood, long wheelbase, short front overhang and set-back passenger compartment are characteristic design features of a BMW. Its high window sill and large wheel arches highlight the Sports Activity Coupé’s ties to the BMW SAV family.
Among the other ingredients in the extroverted, athletic looks of the all-new BMW X6 are the clearly visible details designed to optimize the car’s aerodynamics. They include the air deflectors on the front wheel arches, the Air Curtains integrated into the outer air intakes of the front apron and the Air Breathers in the fenders, which team up to reduce turbulence in the front wheel arches.
The side view of the all-new BMW X6 is likewise defined by eye-catching lines and sharply-drawn contours. The wedge shape of the silhouette is accentuated by a model-specific interpretation of the double swage lines. Emerging from the front wheel arches, the first rises steadily up along the new BMW X6 to the rear door handles. A second swage line sets out on a lower path, extending in a dynamic sweep into the rear lights.
The dynamic character of the Sports Activity Coupé is accentuated by M Sport package which includes BMW Individual High-gloss Shadow Line trim, 20 inch M light-alloy wheels, as well as the specially-tuned Adaptive M suspension. Meticulous design refines truly athletic looks in the all-new BMW X6: aluminum door sill strips bearing the M logo and the anthracite-colored BMW Individual roof liner, electrically adjustable sports seats for the driver and front passenger, and M leather steering wheel all combine to bring an intense aura of sporty driving to the interior of the all-new BMW X6. A specially-designed car key is also part of M Sport.
The powertrain variants of the all-new BMW X6 xDrive30d feaure an in-line six-cylinder disel engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology and 218 horsepower. The model comes with BMW xDrive, the company’s intelligent all-wheel drive system and 8-speed Steptronic Sport Automatic transmission. Fuel consumption has been cut to 16.7 km./l.
The new BMW X3 continues the success of the mid-sized SAV lineage with a host of enhancements which include new engine and drivetrain options.
The new BMW X3 cuts a visually more powerful figure with its new, modified twin-circular headlights (LED headlights are standards for Highline model version), a more eye-catching kidney grille, new front and rear bumpers, and exterior mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators – all of which shine a figurative spotlight on the signature BMW X model design features.
New exterior colors, upholstery designs, interior trim strips and light-alloy wheels enable even more refined individualization. The new BMW X3 allows owners to lend greater emphasis still to the dynamic and robust SAV character of the BMW X3. The automatic operation of tailgate further enhances the already impressive functionality of the BMW X3.
The state-of-the-art engines with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, available in both petrol and diesel varaints, guarantee outstanding performance combined with low fuel consumption as always.
The all-new BMW 428i Gran Coupé M Sport
The all-new BMW 428i Gran Coupé M Sport combines a dynamic and sleek silhouette with additional functionality and more spaciousness in the rear passenger compartment. In contrast to a two-door coupé, the all-new BMW 428i Gran Coupé M Sport offers passengers easier access when entering or leaving the vehicle thanks to the four-door configuration. The doors are frameless, having the characteristic design features of BMW midsize coupés.
As the new powertrain variant, the all-new BMW 428i Gran Coupé M Sport boasts four cylinders and the ideal balance between sportiness and efficiency. The BMW TwinPower Turbo engine combines high-revving characteristics and high-performance output with low fuel consumption and reduced emissions. The 2.0-liter engine delivers a maximum power output of 218 hp, which is reached between 5,000 and 6,500 rpm. Peak torque of 350 Nm is generated between 1,250 rpm and 4,800 rpm. The new BMW 428i Gran Coupé sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6 seconds.
The all-new BMW 428i Gran Coupé M Sport responds directly to steering inputs, resulting in nimble handling and effortless cornering. Standard equipment includes M Adaptive Suspension, LED headlights and the Harman Kardon surround sound system.
BMW i8
The BMW i8 is the world’s first plug-in hybrid sports car. In zero-emission all-electric mode, the BMW i8 has a top speed of 120 km/h and a range of 37 kilometres within the EU test cycle. In Sport mode the BMW i8 offers acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. Top speed with combined performance is 250 km/h.
In everyday commuting, the BMW i8 returns fuel consumption below 20 km/litre around town, less than 14.28 km/litre in extra-urban or motorway driving, and, during longer-distance operation at higher speeds, below 12.5 km/litre – approximately the emission values of a compact car.
The lightweight high-tech material carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) passenger cell brings weight saving of 50% over steel and approximately 30% over aluminium, with equivalent or improved strength.A lithium-ion high-voltage battery can be recharged at a household power socket or with the BMW i Wallbox. Charging times range from less than two hours up to three hours.
The New MINI Hatch 5-Door
The first-ever MINI Hatch with five doors officially arrives in Thailand, the first time in the history of the brand that the Hatch has been offered with two rear doors. The new model combines the hallmark driving fun, distinctive character and refinement of its three door sibling with enhanced practicality and interior comfort thanks to the extended wheelbase. Rear passengers now have 72 millimetres more legroom compared to the 3-Door Hatch, while the increased space also provides room for a third seat in the back row. The two rear doors make access to the expanded rear seating more comfortable.
The new MINI Cooper D Hatch 5-door offer fuel economy of 25.6 Km/litre while CO2 emissions is within 99-102 g/km. The new MINI Cooper S Hatch 5-door sprints 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.8 secs.
There are four model variants with MINI TwinPower Turbo Technology to choose from. The new MINI Cooper Hatch 5-Door comes with 3-cylinder 1.5 litre petrol engine and the new MINI Cooper D Hatch 5-door comes with 3-cylinder 1.5 litre diesel engine. The output of the 4-cylinder 2.0 litre petrol engine in the new MINI Cooper S Hatch 5-door is 192 hp. The new MINI Cooper SD Hatch 5-door is powered by an 170 hp 4-cylinder 2.0 litre diesel engine.
The New MINI Countryman
New version of the first MINI with four doors, a large tailgate, five seats and all-wheel drive for the new MINI Cooper SD ALL4. The new Countryman hones its profile as an all-round talent for versatile mobility and an active lifestyle. Selective design modifications further enhance driving performance figures and optimise fuel consumption and emissions.
Refined details, optimised acoustic comfort and reinforced premium characteristics in the interior include dark dials for road speed and engine speed; ventilation controls with chrome applications;
five seats and exceptional variability with rear seats that can be shifted 13 centimetres longitudinally, backrests that are tilt-adjustable and foldable in a 40:20:40 split; luggage compartment volume can be extended from 350 to as much as 1,170 litres.
MINI Service Inclusive (MSI) is now offered up to 5 years or 50,000 km, offering peace of mind for MINI customers.
MINI 3-Door Hatch
The new MINI remains on course for growth. After its successful market launch, the engine range for the new original in the small car premium segment continues to expand. The selection will include the new MINI Cooper SD as the most powerful diesel variant and the new entry-level petrol engine model MINI One. Both newcomers offer an impressively favourable balance between driving fun and fuel consumption.
The new engine generation with three or four cylinders and MINI TwinPower Turbo Technology is a clear boost for both agility and efficiency in the new version of the MINI. The engine in the new MINI Cooper SD is the most powerful diesel ever in a vehicle of the MINI brand. The 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine generates a peak output of 125 kW/170 hp, putting its maximum torque of 360 Newton metres on stream at 1,500 rpm. Thanks to the pulling power of the new diesel engine, the MINI Cooper SD completes the sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds.
In the new MINI One, too, cutting-edge engine technology ensures that hallmark driving fun is combined with exemplary efficiency. The entry-level variant among the petrol engines also offers spontaneous power delivery, with a maximum torque of 180 Newton metres going on stream at
1,400 rpm. The new MINI One reaches the 100 km/h mark from standing in 10.2 seconds. Its average fuel consumption is 20.4 km/litre, while the relevant CO2 emissions rating is between 112 and 114 grams per kilometre.
The New BMW S 1000 RR
The new BMW S 1000 RR is receiving its Thailand premiere at the Motor Expo 2014, with refined torque delivery and peak torque of 113 Nm from the powerhouse of 199 hp. Besides even sharper performance, particular attention has been paid to rider-friendliness.
