Andrew Ross has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Regional Head of Coface Global Solutions in Asia Pacific effective from 1 August 2015. Andrew will be leading the Coface Global Solutions team in the region and responsible for commercial development and account management of international group clients of Coface in Asia Pacific.
Andrew has more than 20 years of experience in trade credit insurance industry. He started his career in Trade Indemnity in the United Kingdom in 1994 as claims and risk underwriter. He then moved to Sydney of Australia in 2001 and joined QBE Insurance Group as trade credit senior underwriter where he was responsible for new business development and renewal of portfolios in Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and some other markets. Prior to joining Coface, Andrew was Regional Underwriting Manager, APAC - Hong Kong and Senior Underwriter – Australia of QBE Insurance Group in Hong Kong global business division since 2008 where he was heading up Hong Kong trade credit team as well as responsible for APAC business including markets of China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Andrew is based in Hong Kong and he reports to Thomas Yong, Chief Commercial Officer of Coface in the Asia Pacific Region.
