The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) will hold its quarterly "Opportunity Day," a platform where listed companies' top executives can meet directly with analysts and investors, from February 15 to March 31. This event will showcase 143 firms, with a combined market capitalization of THB 3.9 trillion (approx. USD 109.6 billion).
SET Senior Executive Vice President Santi Kiranand said, "The first Opportunity Day event this year to present the Q4/2015 performance will be participated by 143 companies from 19 sectors, consisting of 21 constituents of SET50 Index, 22 of SET51-100 Index, 61 of Non-SET100 Index and 39 mai-listed firms. The "Opportunity Day" has continuously been gaining popularity among listed firms both newly-listed and existing firms. There are 14 newly-listed firms listed during the second half of 2015 participating in the first Opportunity Day event this year, reflecting their determination to disclose information and communicate directly to their investors for more prudent investment decision, while developing their investor-relations function."
These sessions will be organized at SET's new head office at 93 Ratchadaphisek road, Dindaeng, Bangkok, easy to access via MRT (Thailand Cultural Centre station).
