During 23-27 October 2016, Siemens joined the 21st Conference of Electric Power Supply Industry (CEPSI2016) at Centara Grand, CentralWorld Bangkok. CEPSI2016 is one of the biggest and most important events for the power supply industry with over 1,500 leaders in the industry joining.
At CEPSI2016, Siemens, the global powerhouse in electrical engineering was one of the key sponsors and it showcased its latest sustainable technology at its booth as well as having industry experts from Germany present key industry findings in the conference, including those on Siemens industrial gas turbines, distributed power plants and power transmission systems.
Siemens Ltd. President & CEO Mr. Markus Lorenzini also gave a keynote speech on 'Sustainable Energy Concept and Solutions: From Generation to Distribution for Asia' The event and overall topics were well-received by all industry players.
The Siemens booth was visited by Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand H.E. Air Chief Marshal Prajin Juntong; Minister of Energy Gen. Anantaporn Kanjanarat; Vice Minister of Energy Gen. Nattipon Kanokchot; and Governor of EGAT Mr. Kornrasit Pakchotanon visited the Siemens booth at CEPSI2016. They were welcomed by Head of Sales for the Asia and Pacific region of the Siemens Power and Gas Division Mr. Thomas Hagedorn and Siemens Ltd. President & CEO Mr. Markus Lorenzini.
