Recently, at Moevenpick Siam Hotel Na Jomtien Pattaya, Mr.Prakasit Phornprapha, Executive Vice President of Siam Motors Co.,Ltd. together with nine management teams of leading automotive part companies, hold the meeting to strengthened Siam Motors Group Manufacturing Club as response to Thailand 4.0 policy, establish world class sustainable group and build the strong relationship within the group. The management team includes Bangkok Komatsu, GS Yuasa Siam Industry, MAHLE Siam Filter Systems, NSK Bearing Manufacturing (Thailand), Nittan (Thailand), Siam GS Battery, Siam Motors Logistics, Siam Hitachi Elevator, and Siam NSK Steering System. The meeting is to demonstrate the cooperation of five departments which consist of selling, marketing and planning, production, maintenance, quality and sourcing, and finance, account and IT. Also, the meeting is to organize the information sharing and evolve management teams to utilize resource effectively and economically.
Importantly, automotive industry in Thailand is one of national industries as it highly contributes to Thai gross domestic product. The major driver of automotive sector is automotive part industry, leading Thailand to be the biggest automotive hub in Asean.
