Keynote speeches, panel discussions, and ICT industry and IT Service businesses showcasing cutting-edge technologies are highlights of the summit
Hosted by the Information Service Industry Association of Chinese Taipei (CISA), the2010 ASOCIO ICT Summit will be held in Taipei, Taiwan from December 1st through the 3rd at the Taipei International Convention Center. The summit theme is ASOCIO ICT Best Practices and focuses on demonstrating Best ICT Practices and success stories of each member economy. The Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO) is a group of IT industry associations from economies in the Asia and Oceania regions.
The exhibits, showcasing cutting-edge technologies of outstanding ICT industry and IT Service businesses, are organized around the themes of Business Solutions, E-Commerce, Digital Content, Outsourcing, ICT Education, SI and IT Consultation, and the Digital Divide.
Keynote speeches will be delivered by Mr. Stan Shih, Chairman of the iD SoftCapital Group and Co-Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the Acer Group; Dato' Dan E. Khoo, Chairman of the World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA), Malaysia; and Dr. Ming-Ji Wu, Director General, Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT), Ministry of Economic Affairs. Panel discussions include e-Government, e-Business, Cloud Computing, e-SME, and Digital Opportunity.
Optional networking activities on November 30th will include a golf tournament or a tour of the Yingge Ceramics Museum, and dinner and golf tournament award ceremony. For ASOCIO members only on December 1st, there will be a Past President Council Meeting, Board Meeting, and General Assembly.
Pre-registered participants will visit the Industrial Technology Research Institute and the NanKang Software Park, and participate in a WTM meeting, and business matching. Scheduled for the evening are the exhibition opening and welcome reception, and Taipei Night. The keynote speeches and panel discussions will take place on Thursday and Friday. Friday afternoon and evening there will be a press conference, closing ceremony, and gala dinner at the Grand Hyatt Taipei.

The Information Service Industry Association of Chinese Taipei (CISA), is Taiwan's sole representative body of information service industries. Founded in 1983, CISA is one of the most time-honored hi-tech associations in Taiwan. Its 750 corporate members comprise domestic, international companies and R&D institutes in software development, distribution, and information and network service businesses.
