DAVID WHELDON LEAVES BBDO NEW YORK, Sept. 4 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ -- BBDO Worldwide today announced that David Wheldon, 42, President of BBDO Europe, has resigned from the agency. Jean-Michel Goudard, 58, President, International, BBDO Worldwide, will now also function as Chairman of BBDO Europe and will work with a European Board of Directors that will manage the region's operations. Mr. Goudard said that the management board will oversee all European business. Joining him on the board will be Allen Rosenshine, Chairman and CEO of BBDO Worldwide, along with the agency heads of France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and the United Kingdom, as well as the sub-regional head of Central and Eastern Europe, and the region's chief financial officer. Mr. Goudard stated his and Mr. Rosenshine's role on the board "will be to insure that the European decisions are well coordinated with the interests of BBDO on a worldwide basis and are dedicated to BBDO's global vision which Allen Rosenshine has described as the creation of great ideas that build great brands that reach our clients' customers through the optimal use of all communications channels."
