Distribution Excellence Awards won in EMEA, Asia Pacific and the US
RS Components (RS) and Allied Electronics (Allied), the trading brands of Electrocomponents plc (LSE: ECM), the world's leading high service distributor of electronics and maintenance products, have been recognised for distribution excellence worldwide by Phoenix Contact, a leading manufacturer of electric connection and industrial automation technology. RS has been presented the Distribution Excellence Awards for both the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific regions, and Allied has won the award in the US.

Phoenix Contact presents the Distribution Excellence Awards every two years for excellence in sales growth. RS has won the award in EMEA for the second time in a row, this time for its outstanding partnership and turnover development in 2011. RS has also won the award in Asia Pacific, the first time it has been presented in the region, for its impressive growth and success since its partnership with Phoenix Contact began in 2010. This is also the second consecutive time that Allied has received the award in the US for its outstanding growth and marketing.
