Kyodo News, The Japan Times and The Mainichi are launching a joint English portal website from Nov. 2 to 6 to provide news reports, key remarks by officials, official documents and other information for the Nov. 5-6 summit of the Asia-Europe Meeting in Vientiane, Laos.
Media organizations can access the Japan Press Pool Service website to obtain the following in English:
* news reports on the summit;
* top stories from Japan;
* key remarks by Japan's prime minister and other officials;
* news photos;
* information and news reports on side events; and
* official documents released by ASEM and the Japanese government.
