Kyodo News, The Japan Times and The Mainichi have launched a joint English portal website to provide news reports, official documents and other information for a series of APEC meetings in Bali, Indonesia, as well as ASEAN-related meetings, including the East Asia Summit, in Brunei.
Media organizations can access the just-inaugurated Japan Press Pool Service website until Oct. 10 to obtain the following in English:
* news reports on the meetings;
* top stories from Japan;
* news photos;
* information and news reports on side events; and
* official documents released by the APEC and ASEAN secretariats and the Japanese government.
