- 3-in-1 cash recycling ATMs enable automated deposits, withdrawals and passbook updates
Enhancing efficiency and convenience for customers of Siam Commercial Bank PCL (SCB), Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE: DBD) is implementing 140 customized Opteva(R) 378 cash recycling automated teller machines (ATMs) into the bank's fleet. The ATMs are unique 3-in-1 terminals featuring integrated note acceptance, dispensing and self-service passbook update. These features will enable SCB's customers to deposit and withdraw notes and update their passbooks – all from one compact terminal. The terminals' cash recycling capabilities will also reduce operational costs for the bank.

The customized Opteva 378 ATMs are designed to recycle consumer-deposited cash for use in future withdrawal transactions. The ATMs accept up to 200 notes in one transaction without the need for an envelope and automatically validate and denominate the deposited cash before making it available for withdrawals.
