GLOBAL ONE NETWORK SERVICES EXTEND TO ISRAEL AS BARAK BEGINS SERVICE BRUSSELS, Belgium, July 7 /PRNewswire - AsiaNet/ -- Global One today announced that it extends its portfolio of global services to Israel via a mutually exclusive National Agreement (NPA) with Barak, Israel's second international telecommunications operator. Barak -- the international operator owned by the three Global One shareholder companies and Israel's Clalcom and MATAV -- inaugurated service, both national and international, by interconnecting its network with the Global One worldwide backbone via an international gateway switch in Rosh Haiyin near Tel Aviv. Barak will exclusively market Global One products and services in Israel. The agreement strengthens the delivery of Global One products, services and customer support capabilities within Israel. Global One international voice, data and multimedia products and services will be provided by a national carrier who knows its respective market best.
