The historic picture that started it all shows that some E-sports teams had already printed their T Shirts over a month ago and their T-shirt branding clearly shows the G2A logo. But Riot told e-sports teams that the G2A logo could not be used.
E-sports teams were unable to pay for new branding because they were cut off so suddenly from the funding they needed in order to be sustainable.
Innovation prevailed and for those who had already printed the G2A T-shirts, duct tape was used to cover the G2A logo. This increased the sale of duct tape all over the world!
