Principal Photography Begins on DreamWorks Pictures' 'An Everlasting Piece' Under the Direction of Barry Levinson -- WITH PHOTO -- LOS ANGELES, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ -- Filming is underway on DreamWorks Pictures' comedy "An Everlasting Piece" on location in Dublin and Northern Ireland, under the direction of Barry Levinson. He counts among his many other directing credits "Bugsy," for which he received another Oscar(R) nomination; "Avalon," "Good Morning, Vietnam," "The Natural" and "Diner." "An Everlasting Piece" is set against the turbulent backdrop of Belfast in the 1980s, where fellow barbers, Colm, a Catholic, and George, a Protestant, form an unlikely partnership to corner the toupee market and bring piece(s) to Northern Ireland. Levinson is directing "An Everlasting Piece" from a screenplay by Barry McEvoy, which marks his screenwriting debut. McEvoy also stars in the film as Colm with Brian F. O'Byrne, a Tony nominee for his work on Broadway in "The Beauty Queen of Leenane" starring as George. The film also stars Anna Friel, who starred in the acclaimed Broadway production "Closer," and popular Irish comedian Billy Connolly, who has been seen in such films as "Mrs. Brown" and "Indecent Proposal."
