The Academy allows Quintiles to provide a high level of pharmaceutical industry clinical and marketing skills training for employees of pharmaceutical companies in Japan. Training will be provided by an experienced faculty knowledgeable in the Japanese regulatory environment, global standards of Good Clinical Practice and the requirements of Japan's Medical Representative Training Center. The three-story Academy building includes 43,000-square-feet (4,000 square meters) of training space with rooms designed to accommodate as few as 10 or as many as 150 trainees; and 19,500-square-feet (1,800 square meters) of residential space where trainees can live during the training sessions, which can last from a few days to a couple of months. The Academy is equipped with catering and recreational facilities, providing a supportive environment for up to 250 students.
