DIGI INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES NEW OEM AGREEMENT WITH IBM CORPORATION MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ --Digi International Inc.(Nasdaq: DGII) today announced that it has entered into a new OEM (OriginalEquipment Manufacturer) agreement with the IBM Corporation (NYSE: IBM) toprovide IBM with a family of PCI-based asynchronous products for IBM'sRS/6000 computer. These products will be sold under the IBM logo both asstand-alone products and as components in turnkey systems. Digi will continueto supply both its MicroChanel bus and ISA bus asynchronous products to IBMwhich it has done through OEM agreements since 1992. The products which DIGI will supply to IBM include a PCI 128-portcontroller; an enhanced 16-port EIA-232 Remote Async Node; an RS-422 RemoteAsync Node; and a PCI EIA-232/RS-422 8 port async card.
