TOKYO: Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is "exercising the early redemption option for all the Series # 5 Unsecured Convertible Bonds issued on July 5, 1994",it was announced today. MOSCOW: Arms and military equipment export agency Rosoboronexport today announced it has "considerably increased the pace and volume of arms and military equipment sales in 2001" according to General Director Andrei Belyaninov. Rosoboronexport supplied arms to 45 countries, with China, India, Cyprus, Algeria, Greece, Egypt and Kuwait accounting for more than 90% of sales, a press release said.
