Geac(R) (TSX:GAC and NASDAQ:GEAC), a global enterprise software company for Business Performance Management, announced today that Neil Pryde Ltd., a Hong-Kong based sports equipment manufacturer and marketer, has purchased Geac RunTime SellIT as its Web-enabled ordering system. Neil Pryde Ltd., a Geac System21 customer for seven years, is also upgrading to System21 Aurora, Geac's next generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) system with real-time business process management capabilities. Geac also announced today that Muang Thong Mahachai (MTM), a major footwear manufacturer in Thailand, has gone live on Geac System21 Aurora.

The SellIT solution from Geac RunTime, a division of Geac thatspecializes in IT solutions for the apparel and footwear industry, allows NeilPryde Ltd. to offer online order placement and delivery schedules to itsretail customers and distributors. Neil Pryde Ltd. will be able to track,analyze and respond quickly to sales data in real-time, so that it can planits production in accordance with customer demand.
With manufacturing sites in China and Thailand and more than 40distributors around the world, Neil Pryde Ltd. maintains widely dispersedmanufacturing and delivery channels. System21 Aurora will seamlessly link allof Neil Pryde Ltd.'s operations, including its wholly-owned and OEMbusinesses, allowing Neil Pryde Ltd. to manage the vast production anddistribution network in one complete and comprehensive system. SellIT will beintegrated into System21 Aurora to connect Neil Pryde Ltd.'s back-officefinancial reporting, distribution and manufacturing functions to the front-endsales and ordering processes.
MTM, a shoe manufacturer, is focused on managing inventory and optimizingits manufacturing processes. Its ability to compete with manufacturers fromother countries has been inhibited by its use of manual systems to manage itsoperations. With System21 Aurora, MTM can manage and plan its business toobtain greater economies of scale and therefore manufacture better qualityproducts at lower costs. The Web-enabled functionality of System21 Auroraallows MTM to capture more sales orders and expand its service to customers,distributors and suppliers. MTM went live on System21 Aurora in just twomonths after commencing the implementation project.

These contracts come on the heels of other recent wins in the AsiaPacific area. Geac just announced a US$250,000 contract for Geac PerformanceManagement software with global communications company headquartered in Asia.In February, Geac announced a three year contract with The Philippines LongDistance Telephone Company (PLDT) for Geac's SmartStream e-HR solution.
