Visteon Corporation (NYSE: VC) has named Nagamangala Mohan as managing director of its Visteon Thailand Limited manufacturing facility.

Mohan most recently served as strategic business development director for Visteon in India, responsible for key business development activities. He succeeds Greg Babb, who was named associate director of customer quality management for Visteon's North American Ford Truck programs.
"Nagamangala brings a strong mixture of business knowledge and automotive expertise to Visteon Thailand," said Cliff Dawson, Visteon's director of manufacturing operations for Asia Pacific. "The combination of his financial experience and knowledge of strategic planning and development will enable us to leverage our Thailand operations even more in the future."
Born in 1962, Mohan earned a bachelor's degree in engineering from Bangalore University in India and is a qualified cost and management accountant from the Institute of Cost & Work Accountants. He has served in a variety of line and staff positions for both Robert Bosch India Limited and Visteon during his nearly 20-year career in the automotive industry.
The 112,000-square-foot Visteon Thailand Limited facility opened in 1998. It has approximately 300 employees and manufactures instrument panels, consoles, interior plastics and instrument clusters for the automotive industry.
