WASHINGTON, D.C.: Fannie Mae is issuing 2 year benchmark
notes (TBD coupon) with a pricing date of April 20, 2005, a
settlement date of April 22, 2005 and a maturity Date of May
15, 2007. The issue size is US$3.0 billion with payment dates
being each May 15th and November 15th, beginning May 15,
2005.

FANNIE MAE...
WASHINGTON, D.C.: Fannie Mae will redeem the principal
amount of FINS securities issues amounting to a total of
US$13.828 million on April 25, 2005 at a redemption price equal
to 100 percent of the principal amount redeemed plus accrued
interest. Fannie Mae will also redeem the principal amount of
MTN securities issues to a total of US$150 million on April 27,
2005.

system for the distribution of news from the German firm mecom,
Hamburg. The system named "mecom-newsPIPE" uses satellite and

BASEL: Roche and Genentech, Inc., announced that Avastin in
combination with chemotherapy, significantly improves
progression-free survival in patients with previously
untreated, metastatic breast cancer. This is in addition to the
positive survival benefit with Avastin observed in advanced
colorectal cancer and the recently announced data in locally
advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer.
