PERTH: Motorola, Inc. announced that the Western Australian
Police has selected a Motorola ASTRO 25 digital trunked radio
network to bring its communications into the 21st century. WA
Police has signed a $28 million contract with Motorola for the
network, which will cover more than 30 sites. The contract also
includes the supply portable, mobile and fixed ASTRO 25 digital
radio terminals and MW850 mobile computing devices.

comment following the decision of the Hesse Administrative High
