Cotecna Thailand Laboratory Certified by GAFTA for Grain and Feeding Stuffs Analysis

Ltd, Bangkok, is now accredited by GAFTA (Grain and Feed Trade Association) to issue analysis certificates for grain and feeding stuffs at loading and discharging ports. Cotecna Thailand, already on the GAFTA Register of Approved Analysts for grain analysis, recently obtained a listing for feeding stuffs analysis. This recent award, under the GAFTA Approved Analysts Scheme, is a result of Cotecna's successful completion of Round 2 of the 2009 proficiency Ring Test. This latest accreditation proves Cotecna's continuous drive to expand its worldwide network of GAFTA approved laboratories. Laboratories that analyze and provide certificates on the quality of grain, animal feeding stuffs, pulses and rice pursuant to trade performed under GAFTA's contract terms must be approved to be listed on the GAFTA Analysts Register. GAFTA organizes two ring tests a year (January and July) to assess the ability of the applicant to produce accurate and reliable analytical data. Once approved, analysis laboratories continue to demonstrate their ability on a continuing basis by undergoing the two ring tests a year.
