05 Nov 2010 1/ Since 26 May 2000, the Bank of Thailand has reported weekly international reserve figures on mark-to-market basis.

Definitions
International Reserve = Gold + Foreign currency reserves + Special Drawing

Rights + Reserve position in the IMF

Net Forward Position = Bank of Thailand's forward obligations to buy (+) or

sell (-) foreign currency against Thai Baht

Net Claims on Government = Bank of Thailand's lending to Government-Government's

deposits at the Bank of Thailand and Currency held by

Government

Net Claims on Financial Institutions = Bank of Thailand's lending to Financial Institutions -

Bank of Bank of Thailand's borrowing from Financial

Institutions

Reserve Money = Notes and coins in circulation + Deposits of financial

institutions at the Bank of Thailand.

Notes: - Government includes Central Government only.

=- Bank of Thailand has excluded Financial Institution

Development Fund since 1 January 2007. Notes: - Government includes Central Government only.
