Bank of Thailand’s Notification

1. Objective The cabinet's resolution on 31 January 2012 has declared 9 April 2012 a special public holiday due to the royal cremation of Her Royal Highness Princess Bejraratana Rajasuda. To allow people to participate in the royal cremation of Her Royal Highness Princess Bejraratana Rajasuda, the Bank of Thailand (BOT) therefore has designated 9 April 2012 to be a special holiday for financial institutions. 2. Statutory Authority By virtue of the provision of section 37 of the Financial Institutions Business Act B.E.2551, the Bank of Thailand hereby announces financial institutions’ special holiday. 3. Scope of Application All financial institutions under the Financial Institutions Business Act B.E. 2551 4. Special Holiday 9 April 2012 has been declared a special holiday for Financial Institutions. 5.
