Tuesday 16 April Substitution for Songkran Festival 1/ (Saturday 13 April and Sunday 14 April) 6. Wednesday 01 May National Labour Day 7. Monday 06 May Substitution for Coronation Day (Sunday 5 May) 8. Friday 24 May Wisakha Bucha Day 9. Monday 01 July Mid Year Closing Day 10. Monday 22 July Asarnha Bucha Day 2/ 11. Monday 12 August H.M. the Queen’s Birthday 12. Wednesday 23 October Chulalongkorn Day 13. Thursday 05 December H.M. the King's Birthday 14. Tuesday 10 December Constitution Day 15. Monday 30 December Special Holiday 16. Tuesday 31 December New Year’s Eve For financial institutions in Narathiwat, Pattani, Yala, and Satun, an extra holiday is given for the Eidilfitri Day (Ramadan Day) announced by the Sheikhul Islam Office if it does not fall on any of the holidays listed above or Saturday and Sunday. Remarks: 1/The Bank of Thailand announces only one substitution for Songkran Festival (i.e. 16 April 2013). The announcement has been made in accordance with the Cabinet’s Resolution on 3 February 2004, i.e., no more than one substitution will be given for any holidays that take place at the weekend. 2/ Effective from B.E. 2550 onwards, the Asarnha Bucha Day is prescribed as a holiday, in replacement of the Buddhist Lent Day.
