(Public) No.BOT.FOG.(14) C. 1757/2544 Subject: Revision of Daily Report on Nonresident Baht Accounts In accordance with the Article 10 and 20 of the Notification ot the Ministry of Finance on Directions of the Minister to Authorised Agents dated 19 March B.E.2534 (1991), authorised agents are required to report daily deposits into and withdrawals from of each nonresident baht account to the Competent Officer in F.T. 40 Form within three business days from the transaction date. To improve the database system of the Bank of Thailand and better support the conduct of sound monetary policy as well as maintain the stability in financial system, by virtue of the power conferred in Article 10 and 20 of the Notification of the Ministry of Finance on Directions of the Minister to Authorised Agents dated 19 March B.E. 2534 (1991), the Competent Officer has revised the new F.T. 40 Form (as attached). The transition to the new report form shall be divided into two phases as follows: Phase I From 3 September B.E.2544 (2001), Authorised agents shall report transactions in each Nonresident Baht Account in the present F.T. 40 From. However, for transactions between Nonresident Baht Accounts specified as Code No.2, authorised agents shall report the purpose of the withdrawal by using Sub-Codes 2.1-2.9 specified on the back of the new F.T. 40 Form. Phase II From 1 October B.E.2544 (2001), Authorised agents shall report the transactions in the new F.T. 40 Form. To ensure mutual understanding, the Bank of Thailand would like to invite three representatives from each financial institution to attend the meeting which will be held on 15 August B.E.2544 (2001), 14:00 hours, at the conference room located in Building III, 7th floor, Bank of Thailand, Head Office, Bangkhunprom, Please send a list of participants to the Bank of Thailand by facaimile number 0-2356-7508 by 14 August B.E.2544 (2001).
