Some of the resolutions are as follows:

Title: Extension of period for drafting of secondary legislation or any action in accordance with Section 22 (2) of the Act on Legislative Drafting and Evaluation of Law, B.E. 2562 (2019)

The cabinet approved the extension of period for drafting of subordinate legislations that are under the responsibility of Ministry of Transport for another year from November 27, 2023 onward. This is as proposed by Ministry of Transport.

Gist

Ministry of Transport reported that there are altogether 136 subordinate legislations, to be enacted under 12 primary legislations, that fit under Section 22 (2) of the Act on Legislative Drafting and Evaluation of Law, B.E. 2562 (2019), and cannot be enacted before November 27, 2023. Therefore, it is deemed necessary for the Ministry to request for approval of the cabinet on the extension of period for drafting of the 136 subordinate legislations.

The 136 subordinate legislations will be enacted under the following 12 primary legislations:

1.Navigation in Thai Water Act, B.E. 2456 (1913) and additional amendments (3 subordinate legislations)

2.Labor Protection in Fishing Work Act, B.E. 2562 (2019) (1 subordinate legislation)

3.Thai Vessel Act, B.E. 2481 (1938) and additional amendments (2 subordinate legislations)

4.Land Transportation Act, B.E. 2522 (1979) (9 subordinate legislations)

5.Automobile Act, B.E. 2522 (1979) (6 subordinate legislations)

6.Highway Concession Act, B.E. 2542 (1999) (2 subordinate legislations)

7.Highway Act, B.E. 2535 (1992) and additional amendments (3 subordinate legislations)

8.Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand Act, B.E. 2543 (2000) (1 subordinate legislation)

9.Arrangement of Immovable Property for Mass Transit Undertaking Act, B.E. 2540 (1997) (2 subordinate legislations)

10.Air Navigation Act 1954 B.E. 2497 and additional amendments (101 subordinate legislations)

11.Certain Offences Relating to Air Navigation Act, B.E. 2558 (2015) (5 subordinate legislations)

12.Expropriation and Acquisition of Immovable. Property Act, B.E. 2562 (2019) (1 subordinate legislation)

Title: Extension of period for drafting of secondary legislation or any action in accordance with Section 22 (2) of the Act on Legislative Drafting and Evaluation of Law, B.E. 2562 (2019) (Act on the Maintenance of the Cleanliness and Orderliness of the Country, B.E. 2535 (1992) and additional amendments)

The cabinet approved the extension of period for drafting of regulations under the Act on the Maintenance of the Cleanliness and Orderliness of the Country, B.E. 2535 (1992) and additional amendments, as proposed by Ministry of Interior, for another year from November 27, 2023 onward.

Title: 2024 Budget and Action Plan of the Thailand-Malaysia Joint Authority

The cabinet approved the budget of USD5,375,000 and the action plan for 2024 of the Thailand-Malaysia Joint Authority, as proposed by Ministry of Energy, and ordered for the Ministry to take action according to the recommendations of Ministry of Finance and Office of Council of State.
