Promising Imports Exhibition, samples exhibition from five Asian countries including Thailand, is held from Nov.1, 2011 to Jan.31, 2012 (for 3 months) at Ehime International Logistics Terminal (I-LOT) by Ehime Prefecture and Ehime Foreign Access Zone Co.,Ltd. This event is open to cooperate/commercial clients only, by sending direct mail to 240 companies in Ehime Prefecture. TTC Osaka supported them by sending Thai products samples for their exhibition and PR on TTC's website. TTC expect that participation to this exhibition will develop new market in and around Ehime Prefecture in the near future.

Mr. Ishimaru, Ehime Prefecture briefed that there is 10 Ehime companies that established companies in Thailand, such as Okabe Co.,Ltd. (importer of boiled & dried anchovies, jack mackerels, shrimps, etc.) and Hikari Co.,Ltd. (importer of machine parts, materials, automatic & laborsaving machines) And he said that Ehime prefecture is planning to organize mission to Bangkok on 14-15 Feb.2012 to promote Ehime food export to Thailand. They will participate in business matching organized by Kobe-ya Shokuhin Kogyo Co.,Ltd., a Japanese food wholesaler in Thailand.

Ms. Siripan, executive director of TTC Osaka expressed thanks to Ehime Prefecture and Ehime Foreign Access Zone Co.,Ltd. for good exhibition to develop Shikoku Market, and said that TTC is willing to help them in arranging program for their mission to Thailand upon request. In addition, TTC introduced THAIFEX to them as another chance for Ehime food products to develop Thai market.
