3. Result of meeting
Showa Boeki submitted updated planning paper (the 3rd) of "UNY Thai Food Fair 2012" including "Thai fruits Seminar 2012" to TTC Osaka. In 2012, UNY Thai food fair will be held on April 12-15 at 215 branches of APITA, supermarket chain of UNY group. Special event branch with VIP guests will be changed from Nagakute-store to Apita Nagoya Airport-store. The event will include tasting demonstration for Thai fruits, vegetables & processed foods, Thai dance and mini-game event. TTC will provide Thai image data for Showa to make posters for this fair. As for Thai tourism image posters, TTC will negotiate with TAT upon request. Showa Boeki will discuss with Advertising agent and inform TTC at a later date.
TTC Osaka and Showa Boeki exchanged opinions about updated planning paper of "Thai Fruits Seminar 2012. (Date: 4 or 5 Apr. 2012 / Place: Nagoya Castle Plaza Hotel / Organizer: TTC Osaka, Showa Boeki, Japan Food Journal) Purpose of the seminar is to expand demands for Thai fruits around Nagoya market. Showa Boeki coordinated meeting on this seminar at Nagoya Castle Plaza Hotel on 22 Nov. 2011 as follows. TTC said TTC will ask availability of Thai cooking instructor who will be invited to annual Thai cooking classes by Royal Thai Consulate General Osaka prior to the meeting date. Showa Boeki will request Japan Food Journal to recommend hotel for Thai fruits Seminar in Shikoku.

Thai Festival Osaka 2012 will be held by Royal Thai Consulate-General Osaka on 19(Sat.)-20(Sun.) May 2012 at Osaka-jo Koen, Taiyo-no-Hiroba. TTC Osaka invited Showa Boeki to participate in Thai fruits promotion at TTC Osaka's booth. TTC briefed that TTC will have 3 booths in Thai Festival Osaka 2012 and plan to introduce Thai Fruits, Thai Textiles and Thai spa products (2 booths for Thai Fruits Promotion / 1 booth for Other Thai Products Exhibition). Mr. Iriyama answered that Showa Boeki is willing to participate in Thai festival 2012 and he will contact with advertising agent to submit booth decoration idea to TTC by the end of Nov.2011.
