3-1. Thai Fruits Seminar 2012 in Nagoya

[Date and place]
  • TTC confirmed seminar date on Apr. 5 (Thu.), 2012.
  • TTC, Showa Boeki and Japan Food Journal inspected the seminar room at Nagoya Castle Plaza Hotel (Satsuki-no-ma on the 4 th floor) and made tentative reservation.
[Tasting and Recipe]
  • Showa will confirm items of fruits and inform TTC and Japan Food Journal as soon as possible.
  • Japan Food Journal will offer menus for tasting and recipe (first draft) to TTC by the end of Jan.2012. TTC gave some Thai fruits recipe books to Japan Food Journal for their reference.
  • Tasting of Durians got negative answer from the hotel for the reason of its smell.
[Cost]
  • Japan Food Journal will send detailed cost estimation including screen, projector, microphones and video recording cost of Dr. Narumon's demonstration by the middle of Dec. 2011.
  • Chef cost for tasting menus will be negotiated with the hotel after the menu confirmation. (Tasting of different kind of mangos such as Thai / Philippine / Brazil or Nam Dok Mai / Mahachanok / Rat will be prepared by Japan Food Journal).
  • Nagoya Castle Co.,Ltd. offered that accommodations for organizer staffs will be arranged with special rate at their hotels.

3-2. Thai Fruits Seminar 2012 in Shikoku

  • TTC will hold Thai fruits seminar in Shikoku in similar style with Nagoya on Apr. 9(Mon.) 2012.
  • Shikoku is area in charge of Kansai Branch of Japan Food Journal. So TTC asked for advice on place of seminar from Kansai branch of Japan Food Journal by the middle of Dec 2011.
