IBPC is going to form Kansai-Asia Business Alliance Network (KABAN) together with Osaka Prefecture, Osaka City, OCCI, and Osaka Foundation for Trade and Industry. The purpose of this alliance is to strengthen the business network between Asia and Kansai area.
They are going to have 'Asia Business Month' during September - October 2012. During those months, they are going to hold events like "Asia Food Show" and a symposium related to Asia business. They also count events organized by foreign government offices in Kansai such as seminar, mission, and promotional events, etc.
Asia Food Show will be held within Foodtech 2012 (Sep. 12-14, 2012). In the fair, Asian food corner will be created and each country may have one free booth space (depend upon budget). Asian food suppliers or importers are encouraged to participate the fair and their booths better be located in the Asian Food Corner.
Since Foodtech organizer has their own incentive; booth fee discount and free booth, IBPC will discuss with the organizer about incentives. They hope foreign government offices may receive full benefit both from the organizer and IBPC. Then they will inform TTC about the incentive.
TTC was asked to inform IBPC Osaka about any events during Asia Business Month.
