With over 309,000 rooms at 4,000 hotels and resorts, Best Western held on to the top ranking, followed by the Holiday Inn with 240,000 rooms at 1,319 properties.

In Asia, Best Western is the fastest growing international hotel chain, currently with 166 hotels and resorts in operation, going through rebranding and under construction.

The first Bhuvana My Spa opened at Best Western Premier Solo, Indonesia, with the latest having just opened at Best Western Premier Signature Pattaya, Thailand in September 2010.
