Anantara Golden Triangle Resort and Spa and Anantara Spa Hua Hin have been awarded the Award of Excellence and Award for Outstanding Performance respectively at the 8th Thailand Tourism Awards 2010, held recently at the Centara Grand Hotel. The gala event coincided with World Tourism Day and is designed to promote and sustain international standards in the Thai tourism industry. This year’s Awards took on special importance as they are being held in the year marking the 50th Anniversary of the founding of TAT. Anantara Golden Triangle Resort and Spa’s was awarded the highest accolade in the category of Resort Hotels with Less Than 80 Rooms in the Northern Region while Anantara Hua Hin Spa was recognized for its outstanding performance for Hotel and Resort Spa in Thailand’s central region. The awards have gained wide recognition both within Thailand and abroad. General Manager of Anantara Golden Triangle Resort and Spa, Mr. Bodo Klingenberg (pictured left) accepted the award from the TAT Governor Mr. Suraphon Svetasreni.
