Thirteen winners from Bangkok and Phuket commended for outstanding service, luxury or value

HotelClub Hotel Awards is a flagship program from HotelClub that will this year honor outstanding hotels with two types of awards — the Popular Destinations awards and the Best Kept Secrets awards. The Popular Destinations awards are split into categories for Outstanding Value and Outstanding Service and Outstanding Luxury. They honor HotelClub’s most outstanding hotels in the most popular hotel destinations around the world. The Best Kept Secrets awards are divided into Outstanding Beach Resort, Outstanding Secluded Boutique Hotel and ‘Top Hotel on a Shoe String Budget’ categories. These awards give recognition to the most outstanding hotels in the hottest up-and-coming destinations for 2010.
This year, under the Popular Destination Awards, 13 leading hotels and resorts in Bangkok and Phuket have been recognized. They are as follows:

The Best Kept Secrets winners have risen to the top based on objective assessments by HotelClub’s team of experts. The Popular Destinations winners have been selected based on genuine guest reviews posted on www.hotelclub.com.
All the winning Bangkok hotels and Phuket hotels, as well as other finalists in each category, will receive a beautifully designed certificate for their lobby or reception area. They will also enjoy extensive promotion by HotelClub over the next 12 months.
For example, 20 nominated Thai hotels and resorts in each category will be listed on HotelClub’s brand-new Hotel Awards mini-site (www.hotelclub.com/hotel-awards/) and will be flagged in HotelClub’s search results with a special hotel awards ribbon. HotelClub will also promote the hotels through social media including blogs, Facebook and Twitter.
