Bangkok--7 Oct--Thana Burin Asia Pacific
IMPACT Exhibition Management Co Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today with the entrepreneurial group Thana Burin Asia Pacific Ltd for a series of Management Training Courses which will be held regularly at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
Aptly titled “TRAIN TO WIN” the programmes will initially include Crisis Management Control, Media Training, Understanding the Media both Local and International, Presentation Skills, and Public Speaking.
Mr Paul Kanjanapas, Managing Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co Ltd, said “We have been interested in the education field for some time as we have a captive market through the hundreds of events held at IMPACT each year. These new programmes will provide added value to those wishing to participate. We have been both an exhibition and management venue for more than 10 years and have observed executives having interviews or co-ordinating with both the media and the public. This expansion of business is interrelated and will help us and our business partner, Thana Burin Asia Pacific to market and promote the programmes.”
Thana Burin Asia Pacific Ltd’s Managing Director and well-known TV personality of Morning Talk fame, Dr Valerie McKenzie, said “The demand for specialised courses such as the ones that have been developed thus far is at an all time high.
“For many years both in Thailand and regionally we have been conducting these management courses within corporations but as yet no one has looked at individuals wanting to gain additional experience to further their careers. The “TRAIN TO WIN” courses will fill the gap, offering high level trainers with specific experience in each field. In addition during crisis times the experienced executive, who is able to cope and communicate efficiently and effectively with the media can use the crisis as an opportunity,” she added.
“IMPACT will provide the facilities and manage the marketing and sales of the courses whilst Thana Burin Asia Pacific will develop and run the courses. The first course will be held the next month on 26th-28th November. Additionally, it is intended that courses in specific Management Skills will be introduced in 2011,” Mr Paul concluded.
