The objective is to preserve Thai — Chinese traditional about Zongzi activities as well to stimulate tourism industry of Chinatown. This festival will be launched on June 22 — 23, 2012 at the Commemoration Gate Honoring HM the King’s Sixth Cycle Birthday and Shanghai Mansion Hotel Yaowaraj.
There are many activities in the Zongzi festival such as the Zongzi demonstration, Zongzi eating competition, Zongzi fair and food tasting from the best of Yaowaraj. At Shanghai Mansion Yaowaraj, you will enjoy the Yaowaraj and Zongzi exhibition on 1st and 2nd floors. Moreover, tram for Yaowaraj community and culture tour will kick off in front of Shanghai Mansion hotel and will go around , scheduled thrice covering 10:00 am., 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. respectively.
