Panasonic’s AV introduced the 3D VIERA Plasma TV to consumers in May, and it has become hugely popular, thanks to its Neo Plasma technology with a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, the highest quality in the market. Its super-sharp, in-depth pictures are certified by THX? Ltd., a major special-effects company run by well-known producer and director George Lucas, which states that our monitor provides the real-life quality of images and sound that movie-makers desire. In addition, our Full HD 3D Blu-ray player which complete the ultimate Blu-ray Disc? and DVD aesthetic image quality plus digital and analogue sound quality offer the best viewing and sounding experience in the living room.
Supachai Chanyasawad, Senior Department Manager Broadcast Regional Operation Center-Indochina Professional Systems Division, said the key strength of Panasonic’s Digital Imaging and Broadcast products is that consumers can produce 3D content at the quality of cutting-edge movie studios. The group of recording products consists of 3D Image Recording and 3D Live Switcher products for live broadcast events. The 3D Image Recording products include the SDT 750, a 3D camcorder that is the first of its kind in the market. Its 3D lens set can turn images into 3D quality and record onto a SD memory card. An advanced 3MOS sensor offers real-life picture quality. Panasonic’s Leica Discomer/F1.5 lens enhances night shots. The camera operator can view content on a 3D television instantly. In addition, Panasonic has a 3D Twin-Lens digital recorder for professionals. The AG-3DA1E is a single-body lightweight camera equipped with a twin lens that enables recording onto twin SD memory cards. The twin lens system allows users to manage automatic left and right image deviation, adjust Convergence Point with PH mode for full HD quality.
Panasonic’s 3D Live Switcher is ideal for live events. It consists of an HD/SD digital A/V mixer, model AG-HMX100E, which features a flexible user interface, video switching and audio mixing features, plus a built-in multi-viewer display. For added flexibility, the mixer brings video sources, audio levels, and a waveform monitor together in multiple windows on a single monitor. Sound and waveform are contained in a single display, with embedded mixing functions for video and audio signals from the video camera. When working with the 3D Professional AG-3DA1, the device can switch signals into 3D instantly.
Panasonic has also introduced the BT-3DL2550, a 25.5-inch 3D LCD production monitor with an Xpol Polarizing filter that allows content to be viewed in simultaneous 3D via a dual SDI digital signal cable, in both Line-by-Line and Side-by-Side format, plus a function to display special effects (for a 3D Rig camera) such as overlay, and half mirror that can handle a horizontal flip. The BT-3DL2550 offers the same exceptional quality similar to that of leading studio productions at an affordable price.
