Luxury property developer Raimon Land held the topping-off ceremony for the north tower of The River, the most prestigious residential address along the Chao Phraya.
The event marks an important milestone in the construction of Bangkok's newest landmark in the heart of the city's 5-star neighborhood. The core structure of the North Tower is now complete at 42 storeys. Meanwhile, the South Tower's structure has reached level 63, out of 72, and is expected to be completed in January 2011. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations are progressing in both towers and architectural works are advanced.
Raimon Land Chief Executive Officer Hubert Viriot said: "The topping-off of the North Tower marks a significant point in the construction of The River.
Bouygues-Thai Managing Director Jean-Marie Verbrugghe, said: "We are proud to be part of The River residential project. With its two towers, and over 250 meters in height for the tallest one, The River will become a world-class icon on the city's skyline."
The River features an unrivalled mix of unit choices, from studio, 1 - 3 bedroom luxury units to soaring duplexes and penthouses, all designed to maximize the breathtaking city and river views.
