With the initial installation plasma TV 42 inches to be located in 500 stores in the first quarter and will expand in more 1000 branches by 2011 in Bangkok.
A preliminary budget of more than 200 million baht for both installation and new media public relations was put in place. The target goal is to reach 1,500,000 People daily who use the service at convenience stores and passing traffic.
Thai AirAsia Co., Ltd., Warner Music, Ltd. and Thai Yamaha Motor Co., etc together with the consumer products in convenience stores such as Thai Vegetable Oil Public Company Limited, Carabao Daeng and others assured their support on 500 Panasonic plasma screens which will be ready for service in 250 branches by November 1st 2010.
The activity about media market electronic at convenience shops is divided into two major campaigns, which are SEVEN Stations. (Plasma display in 500 branches) and LCD screen (2.5 meters x 1.5 meters). The Plasma will have extra contrast on the image, located in prime locations which now Seven Eleven Silom. (Corner of Soi Convand), and Siam Square branches are installed. It is forecasted to increase revenue by the end of this year to 250 million Baht
