FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, announced its appointment as Official Carrier and Sponsor of the 8th World Film Festival of Bangkok (http://www.worldfilmbkk.com). The Festival takes place from November 5 to November 14, 2010 and will feature 120 films from around the world..
David Carden, managing director of FedEx Thailand and Indochina said, “We are delighted to be selected as a Sponsor and Official Carrier of the World Film Festival of Bangkok and to be entrusted with the safe transportation of the films from many different countries. FedEx Thailand has acted as official carrier for a number of other major film festivals including the Bangkok International Film Festival, the Seoul International Youth Film Festival, the Seoul International Family Film Festival, the Asiana International Short Film Festival and the Sydney Film Festival.
