SANYO announces the launch of HIT HIP-210NKHB5 solar cell in Thai market in the fourth quarter. The solar cell features 18.9% conversion efficiency, the top in the industry at present, according to a survey by SANYO Corporation (Japan).
Talking about SANYO’s latest energy innovation, Mr. Komin Wanichworanun, Senior Manager of Cold Chain Sales Section of SANYO (Thailand) Co., Ltd. said the HIT (Heterojunction with Intrinsic Thin Layer) HIP-210NKHB5 solar cell is capable to generate 210 watts of power per panel. With 812 ? 1580 x 35 millimeters dimension, 15 kilograms weight and 25-30 years duration, the HIP-210NKHB5 can generate more power under high temperature compared to other models.
“With cutting-edge production technology, the panel cover is highly heat resistant and humidity proof. On top of that, the model features 18.9% conversion efficiency, the top in the industry at present.”
Estimating continuous growth in Thai market during the past 4-5 years, SANYO believes that solar cell is an alternative renewable energy that is not only clean but also helps reducing CO2 emissions and is worthy in long-term.
“Our targets are public and private projects, particularly those of industrial and residential sectors. At the beginning, we will be focusing on by-order sale without stocking the product,” Komin concluded.
