Loy Kratong is one of Thailand’s most enchanting festivals. Celebrated on the night of the full moon in November, Thais pays respect to the goddess of water by floating a ‘kratong’ on the river. As each decorative banana leaf raft drifts down the river, locals believe that it carries away misfortune.
VIE Hotel Bangkok will celebrate the annual festival in its own distinctive manner with a “Moonlight Loy Kratong Dinner” to mark the most beautiful full moon night of the year. You’ll also receive a complimentary kratong to float your troubles away.
