The SCB Hat Yai Area Office will then coordinate with local authorities to distribute the relief supplies.” For the next step in restoring deluged communities, SCB is considering home repair assistance guidelines through collaboration with public charitable organizations, vocational colleges, and volunteer students. SCB will survey their need for repair tools, equipment, and materials through their community leaders and will provide the communities with the required supplies. Budget for the assistance will be allocated from the “SCBF-SCB for Disaster Relief” account to which on-going public donations are welcomed. In addition, SCB is waiving transfer fees for flood relief funds until 31 December 2010. When making a flood donation transfer via SCB to public or private agencies or a fund transfer to help families or relatives in flooded areas, customers can inform the bank of the fund transfer purpose and receive a fee waiver.
