e-Cop and Bay Computing today announced that the two companies are entering into a joint venture to provide a complete suite of information security services to both local enterprises and government agencies. The agreement was signed by Mr Sui Wee Chong, Executive Director of e-Cop, and Mr Supachai Buristrakul, Managing Director of Bay Computing Co., Ltd on 13 October 2010 in e-Cop’s office premises in Singapore.
Under this new agreement, Bay Computing will hold a majority stake. Bay Computing will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business. The joint venture will build on e-Cop’s successful model of People, Process and Technology; draw on the combined management expertise of both companies, and ride on the back of e-Cop’s remarkable research and development capabilities, which is widely recognized for its award-winning security event correlation technology.

The joint venture office will be located at Bangkok under the brand name of e-Cop. The official handover date is slated for 30 November 2010.
