Turkish Airlines has announced the appointment of Mr Kerrar Yuksel as Director for Thailand and Cambodia. Based in Thailand, Mr Yuksel replaced Mr Adnan Aykac, who moved to work in India as Turkish Airlines Director for New Delhi.
Mr Yuksel’s will oversee the overall commercial strategies and initiatives across Thailand and Cambodia markets, together with strengthen business relationships with corporate clients, business partners, cargo & travel agents in Thailand.
Prior to his appointment, Mr Yuksel, a Turkish national, was a Specialist at Turkish Airlines Marketing & Sales Department for Asia & Far East markets at the airline head office in Istanbul for three years. Before that he had extensive experience in both marketing and sales at Ozyasar Wire & Galvanizing AS and Ikbal Domestic & Foreign Commerce Ltd.
Mr Yuksel holds a Master’s Degree in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University in the US and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations at Istanbul University in Turkey.
Mr Yuksel believes in team work, customer satisfaction and mutual trust. During his free time, he enjoys reading, watching movies, documentary films and national geographic and playing Japanese chess (GO). Mr Yuksel is married and has one son.
