Tata’s booth at the Motor Expo will be built around the theme of ‘Convenience in the City,’ in perfect alignment with the launch of the Super Ace City Giant. It also shows Tata’s understanding of the need to care for the earth while meeting the transport requirements of urban and provincial areas. This is why the company is developing commercial vehicles with appropriate engine sizes and fuel economy, as well as those running on alternative fuels that reduce the emission of pollutants. And the performance of all models reflects an optimum response to the business of transporting goods.
In addition to showcasing all its models in the commercial vehicle range, Tata will be presenting the first appearance in Thailand of its award winning Indica EV prototype. This electric vehicle accommodates four passengers with space for luggage and runs on a super polymer lithium ion battery. It accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in 10 seconds and will run for 200 kilometres on a single charge. The Indica EV is manufactured by Tata Motors UK and Miljo Grenland/Innovasjon of Norway, and is currently being tested in Europe.
Experience Tata’s vehicle innovations at Booth A04 in the Thailand International Motor Expo 2010 from December 1 to 12, 2010. There will be many special privileges on offer to every customer who makes a booking.
